Y2 Couple of the Year for 2008
Bob & Dee Conway
We have been members of Texas Chapter
Y2 since 1999. During the years we have had the pleasure of being Assisstant Chapter
Directors, Road Captain, Newsletter Editor and participated in many other roles. Starting out in 2008, we are
serving as the Y2 Couple of the Year.
We have 2 grown children and have 4 grandchildren. Bob is the owner of Bob's Diesel
Service and Dee works for the frac department of Halliburton.
After a very serious surgery in 1998, Bob decided that he was ready to get back
into riding a motorcycle and I thought he had lost his mind. After finally looking
at many motorcycles, we agreed on a Goldwing. We have found that it is a great way
to live our lives. We have developed many great friendships with other people that
have the same love of riding. Bob and I have also discovered that
riding a Goldwing is a great way to go on vacation and we have been lucky enough
to be able to travel on many long rides into several other states.
We have always enjoyed camping and I love that we have finally been able to combine
our motorcycle riding and camping together. I still have a hard time trying to find
time for my quilting, but Bob sometimes has to ride solo so that I can complete
my projects.
